If you are pursuing a career in the field of science you should be very good in mathematics. The quantiles you will measure in your career and calibrations you are expected to do will require you to be well versed with numbers and formulas.
The other thing you have to be great at is either physics, biology or chemistry. Whatever field you choose one of this sciences will be a must.
Do not make the career mistake many make by choosing a field because it has well paying jobs. I would advice college students to look for a balance between a well paying career and your passion.
Once you start working passion is important because for many years to come will spend a lot of time in your life working. Another tip for college students is to work hard on your studies. I know this sounds like a cliche’ but its true.
Some careers only choose top notch students because of how sensitive they are so if you have good grades, you have better chances of landing a good job.
There are various careers in the field of science which I have grouped fr the traditional careers to the new edge one.
This is basically doctors, dentists, physiotherapists among others. The dentists careers has hard some ups and down due to so many under qualified dentist so ensure you find a job in a reputable firm.
Doctors have an option of growing their careers to other field like neurology, cardiologist, anaesthetist and others.

Science students can pursue a career as lecturers or trainers. Lecturing is a satisfying job even though the starting salary may be little. Imparting knowledge to the future generation is a vital part of our society.
